The Ken Miruka Foundation is a non-political, non-profit organization — an irrevocable public charitable trust and registered society — dedicated to supporting needy individuals and communities through entrepreneurship, innovation, education, healthcare, solidarity, unity, and healthy living.
The Ken Miruka Foundation is a non-political, non-profit making organization established on the 1st of November 2020 by Founder Kennedy Okello Miruka. It operates as an irrevocable public charitable trust and a registered society, governed by both a Trust Deed and a Society Constitution.
The Foundation shall not involve or align itself with any political, racial, or ethnic grouping, or any religion or ideology. In all its dealings, the Foundation is guided solely by its charitable objects — promoting peaceful co-existence, solidarity, fraternity, unity, and healthy living within communities.
Non-profit · Community-driven
Our work spans six core areas — combining the charitable objects of the Trust Deed with the community objectives of the Society Constitution.
Promoting entrepreneurship and innovation to create sustainable livelihoods and economic opportunity for persons in need.
Establishing scholarships, fellowships, and mentorships for poor and deserving persons pursuing university and tertiary education.
Supporting access to healthcare, medical facilities, food, clothing, and necessities for recovery and healthy living.
Providing access to support networks for needy individuals and communities, ensuring help reaches those who need it most.
Providing humanitarian aid in times of crisis or disaster, with up to 20% of trust benefits directed to relief efforts.
Promoting physical activities, sports, music, drama, and the arts in recreational, professional, and educational spaces.
The Ken Miruka Innovation Centre is the Foundation's flagship initiative — a hub for community projects, learning, and talent development that brings our charitable objects to life.
Every initiative we undertake is grounded in these principles — the heart of the Ken Miruka Foundation.
